I took a trip to Heaven - but only in my mind.
I wanted to know what it’s like to leave you behind.
So I closed my eyes and started to see - just how wonderful life there would be.
I could see the beauty all around - where happiness was surely found.
There in God’s hands you lay asleep - content and sweet for all to see.
The look of love upon God’s face was all that was needed.
I knew at once that you were safe.
Until we meet again once more.
